Custom designed Marathon Carriage by Frontier Equestrian of Missouri. This is the ultimate in sport or pleasure driving. Large driver's area with loads of leg room - driver's seat moves in and out depending on leg length of the driver - the front seat is also set up so that the drivers seat may be moved to the right side allowing for a full size bench seat next to the driver. Large passenger seats in back can each handle 2 passengers. The carriage has 4 wheel hydraulic disc brakes - there are separate brake pedals for front and rear brakes. The carriage has stainless steel trim and automotive quality paint. There is also a switch that will lock the brakes when parking the vehicle. The carriage comes with a single horse marathon style shaft and also with an adjustable team pole for 2 horses - the double tree is already built into the body of the carriage. You can switch from single horse to team pole in about 30 seconds. Overall length is 91" without the shafts, width is 52", overall wheel height from ground to top of rubber is 29". Weight is 650 pounds. Ground clearance is 11.4" - the turning plate will allow the fifth wheel to rotate 360 degrees. NOTE - When this was shipped to us part of the crate came loose and caused some minor damage to the armrests on the drivers seat - we took the seat to a local auto upholstery shop and had it repaired - We have taken pictures to show the repair.This carriage may be picked up at our ranch in Jasper Missouri - we can also help arrange shipping for you, - cost will depend on your distance from Jasper Missouri.
